How to Keep Our Children Healthy

Posted on April 25th, 2007 in Noni Juice by noniman

As parents, we are always desperate to maintain our children’s health. It seems as if there are never enough vitamins and medicines to keep our children in tip top shape. Fortunately, there are easy strategies to at least prevent serious illness from emerging. From diet to exercise and even alternative methods – the results are limitless. So what are you and your children waiting for?

Let’s face it – life can be cruel. Even when we try our hardest to eliminate problems, we continuously end up being blind sided. Still, it is imperative to keep these problems at bay. For children, health is even more critical. In today’s society, obesity is a major factor, thanks to the thousands of fast food chains around the corner. For this very reason, nutrition needs to be at the forefront. When your child begs you for a piece of cake or candy, you need to put your foot down. Revert to healthier snacks such as fruit crackers and cheese or even vegetables dipped in dressing. If you start your child off the correct way, chances are likely that they will maintain the same eating habits later in life. Still, moderation should be realistic. Everyone needs a moment of bliss every once in a while, thus you should make it a point to allow your child to snack on what they love every so often. This will rarely do any damage, and it will give your child incentive to work harder.

Are you always worried about germs? Afraid your child will get sick? Colds are always a prime target when children are at school. Therefore, it is critical to prevent these illnesses as much as you can. Flu shots are a great alternative, especially since they will fight off major symptoms. For children, they are much more susceptible to these bugs. If there is a flu shot shortage, an herbal supplement may be the key. Noni Juice, for instance, is a natural fruit juice that boosts the immune system. It contains so many nutrients and vitamins that it helps eliminate any chance of a virus occurring. Not only does it keep children and adults healthy, but it increases energy and can lighten the effects of diabetes. For people who are desperate for an alternative, Noni Juice may be the best fit. Seeing as it is 100% natural and delicious for kids to drink, it is no surprise why many parents are running to the store.

If you are still anal about germs and need additional backups, vitamins are always a great helping hand. Many children enjoy the Flintstone’s vitamins that you can easily purchase at any local drug store. They are tasty, fun to play with, and they promote good health. This way your children will always know that taking vitamins is the right thing to do.

We all know how difficult it is to maintain great health. Our children are consistently interacting with other children, who are probably carrying mountains of germs. Nevertheless, we can only do so much to prevent the future. Encouraging our children to wash their hands and introducing them to herbal supplements is an effective idea. Noni Juice will certainly increase any chances they have for beating an illness. Perhaps one day we won’t have to try as hard. But for now, we have all we can do to make sure our children are healthy and happy.

Natural Relief for Sinus Infections

Posted on April 24th, 2007 in Conditions and Diseases by noniman

Sinus infections are a common ailment with many people, and they are never easy to deal with. Any given sinus attack can have various symptoms such as congestion, sinus headache, and runny nose. Sinus infections most commonly occur as a result of viral or bacterial infections, and allergies. Some people are more prone to getting sinus infections than others. People who are continually exposed to dust or other micro air pollutants are more likely to develop a sinus infection. This includes smokers, as the tobacco smoke has a detrimental effect on the sinuses.

Most people see sinus infections as a major annoyance, since they need to continually blow their nose throughout the day and often get chapped nostrils from using so much facial tissue. Surely on multiple occasions we’ve all had congestion so bad that we can’t even successfully blow our nose. Relief is always the first priority when experiencing a sinus attack; so many people often turn to over the counter nasal decongestants. Most people have a hard time even finding a nasal decongestant that works for them, and often take more than the recommended dose. Too many over the counter drugs can have adverse effects on the well being of other parts of the body such as the liver or the kidneys. In this case it seems to be healthier to try natural alternatives, such as noni juice. There are several cases of people who have used noni juice to treat acute and even chronic sinus infections with favorable results. Noni juice has an abundance of anthraquinones, which helps reduce the inflammation of the sinuses, as well as fight any bacterial infections that cause the sinus attack. Of course, the immune boosting properties of noni juice could help prevent sinus infections in the first place.

Some of us may experience sinus infections quite regularly, and some of us may only experience them at certain times of the year. It is always a good idea to determine what triggers your sinus problems so you can take preventative measures. It is important to maintain your state of well being, and a wise choice to do it naturally.

Natural Care for the Common Cold

Posted on April 23rd, 2007 in Conditions and Diseases by noniman

Catching the common cold can be frustrating and can make daily life more difficult. It is so common that it’s usually not seen as a good enough excuse to call in sick at work. The common cold is actually a viral infection which attacks the upper respiratory system. There are a wide range of symptoms, but universally the nose and throat are affected the most. The symptoms are usually most potent for about 5 days, but coughing and the releasing phlegm can last a few weeks. Children get colds about 3 or 4 times more often than adults, usually because of the daily exposure at schools with a large population of children. Adults who work in similarly high populations tend to catch colds more often as well. Basically, the higher the population is, the more viral infections are easily spreadable. Although the common cold is near impossible to avoid, there are always natural methods for building up our immune system for extra protection.

When you find yourself experiencing early cold symptoms it is the best time to take extra care of yourself. Studies have shown that people who start caring for the common cold before it fully manifests tend to recover much faster. Daily doses of vitamin C will help build up the immune system. Another powerful immune system booster is noni juice. The anthraquinones, sterols, and terpenes found in noni juice all have beneficial effects on the immune system. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is also very important if you wish to maintain a healthy immune system. Taking the extra care to build up your body’s defenses is the best way to care for a cold, rather than consuming over the counter medicines that only work to suppress symptoms.

Any doctor will tell you that the most important thing to do when you get a cold is to get plenty of rest and drink clear liquids. However, those same doctors may be quick to prescribe you with pharmaceutical cold treatments. The more natural treatments are not only very effective at fighting colds, but also help prevent them in the first place.

Mono and the Path to Recovery

Posted on April 19th, 2007 in Conditions and Diseases by noniman

Infectious mononucleosis is a disease that goes by many names such as glandular fever, the kissing disease, or more commonly, mono. The second most popular nickname, “the kissing disease”, relates to the fact that mono is usually passed through sharing saliva, making it a very contagious illness. The Epstein-Barr virus is the more common cause of mono, which infects B cells and produces T cells that react against the body. The symptoms then manifest at first with strong fatigue, a sore throat, and varying degrees of fever. Later on some other symptoms may develop such as body aches, weakness, and depression. What makes mono such an unpleasant illness is that the symptoms normally last 4 to 6 weeks.

While there is no cure for mono, there are ways to treat the symptoms naturally, and even speed up recovery. The most important thing you should do when the early symptoms of mono begin to appear is to get as much rest as possible. If you force yourself to be physically active, whether at home or in the workplace, you could make your symptoms dramatically worse. Drinking hot liquids is a good way to treat the sore throat, although you should avoid caffeine. Drinking noni juice has been used by many people for treating a few aspects of mono. The anti-inflammatory agents in noni juice help reduce fever and relieve body aches. Once the worst of the symptoms begin to subside, many have found that drinking noni juice helps with boosting energy when the body is ready to become active again. It is also a good idea to stay away from candy and other sweets, which could possibly inhibit recovery.

For an illness that has no cure and lasts such a long time span, the best thing a person with mono can do is take measures to reduce the symptoms and let the body rest. For a time span of 4 to 6 weeks, a carefully treated case of mono could disappear within 4 weeks, making the other 2 weeks unnecessary. Overall, recovery is best attained through rest and natural treatments.

Immune Boosting Treats For Children

Posted on April 17th, 2007 in Noni Juice by noniman

When our children become sick with common illnesses such as a cold, it can be a difficult task to give them medicines or even natural treatments without having them turn their nose up at it. Most children can’t stand the taste of any medicine, and the same is true of some natural remedies. Since children are more physically active, whether they’re at home or school, they usually don’t get the appropriate amount of rest that is required to recover from a cold in a short enough time span. That’s why it is important to keep their immune systems strong enough to get over the illness, or it could possibly get worse.

Sometimes you can just mention the word “medicine” and see the face a child turn sour. While pharmaceutical companies may try to give flavor to their medicine, it is usually too artificial tasting for most kids to stomach. Rather than going through the trouble of trying to force feed medicine to your child, you will probably have better results if you give them immune boosting supplements. Vitamin C is probably the most important immune system booster. You can feed your child vitamin C with no sweat because it can come in so many different forms. Your child may like chewable vitamin C tablets, but the artificial flavorings in most popular brands might still be bad tasting for them. Orange juice is another good source of vitamin C, and your child may see it as a good treat as well. Noni juice is also a powerful immune system booster, and also contains vitamin C. If the taste of noni juice is too much for them, you can even give them some candy called Noni Peppermints, which contains noni powder, and makes a good peppermint treat.

Doctors are usually too quick to prescribe pharmaceuticals for your child. The adverse effects that some of these medicines have can lead to more detrimental health risks in the future, like having what we call the “good bacteria” depleted as a result of too many antibiotics. There are several natural remedies and supplements to keep your child’s immune system in good shape.

Natural Treatment for Irritated Skin

Posted on April 13th, 2007 in Noni Juice by noniman

There are multiple types of skin conditions that fall under the umbrella of dermatitis. Some people may have irritated skin at different times of the year, with certain weather conditions like wind or cold temperatures. Harsh elements such as chemicals or even certain types of metals or fabrics can inflame the skin and cause itchiness. Dermatitis has various levels of severity and can be very discomforting. It is also very easy to become self conscious of reddened or cracked skin. Often the dermatitis can lead to cracks in the skin, which can sometimes get infected and lead to other complications such as infection or impetigo. The best way to prevent dermatitis is to avoid the harsh elements that inflame the skin, although it is much easier said than done. That’s why most people turn to topical treatments to alleviate irritated skin.

Most of these dermatological skin conditions deplete moisture and cause dryness accompanied with inflammation, both of which make the skin very itchy. The more common method of relief would be to apply skin moisturizing lotions. In many cases however, this doesn’t always work. No matter how much lotion is applied, many people have trouble with clearing irritated skin conditions and sometimes end up damaged skin. In this case, many people have had favorable results with using Noni Skin Repair Crème. Those who have used noni crème on a daily basis have reported rapid healing of the skin. Although you shouldn’t apply Noni Skin Repair Crème to broken skin, the anti inflammatory attributes and healing properties of the noni fruit can help clear up irritated skin before it starts to crack. Noni Skin Repair Crème aart from noni juice also contains aloe vera gel to help to reduce itchiness, and vitamin E to promote continued dermatological health.

Dry, reddened, and itchy skin can easily be treated with natural topical treatments, especially with powerful ingredients such as aloe vera and the noni fruit. Of course, more severe skin conditions may require medical attention. However, you can save yourself a lot of trouble by using natural topical treatments before the skin condition becomes severe in the first place.
