Natural Medicine?

I am looking for a natural way to cure anxiety and nausea. I am looking for an herb. Please Help!

Answer by keoki9
For the anxiety, I would try breathing exercises. For nausea, I believe peppermint is recommended.

Apple cider vinegar: This is pH neutral and helps in neutralizing excess stomach acid, the major cause of nausea. Just two or three teaspoons in warm water, taken first thing in the morning, generally do the trick.

Ginger tea: Ginger root is a well-researched natural product found most beneficial in treating all kinds of nausea. Ginger tea is an effective cure for nausea
. Make the tea by pouring boiling water over a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root. To make it taste better, squeeze half a lemon and sweeten it with honey. It can also be taken as refreshing iced tea. It not only relieves nausea, but also wards off low blood sugar, headaches and fatigue.

I have found two things that work for anxiety, but only one works on nausea.

Tahitian Noni Juice works on anxiety and nausea. (Make sure you get Tahitian. Other noni juices contain up to 9 grams per ounce. Tahitian Noni contains 35,000 grams per ounce. Sorry I don’t have their phone number.)

Adaptogen 10 Plus by TriVita works very, very well on anxiety. (800.991.7116-Main number, I don’t make any money off it.)

If anxiety is leading to stomach problems, I would choose the Adaptogen 10 Plus. I can really feel it working. I call it my happy juice. 20-30 minutes after taking it you get this strong feeling of happiness and peace. It also makes you feel confident and handle stress well. It also gets rid of aches and pains in your body. I wish I made money off it. I would make a killing because it works so well.

Start with a high potency multicitamin-multimineral tablet, and take a calcium-magnesium pill with it each day. Ginger herb is a good remedy for nausea; peppermint and chamomile tea also are helpful. GABA, 5-HTP, Kava kava, and Valerian are all good natural calmatives. The amino acid Tyrosine may also give some relief. Finally, take a good broad spectrum essential fatty acid supplement, and a good probiotic for digestive health.
See vitasearch.com for info on individual items.
    Good luck!

If you find a cure for anxiety your nausea may go away.

Couldn’t find an herbal for anxiety. If it is an ongoing neurophysiological problem, then I suggest your doctor. They may refer you to a Psychiatrist or Neurologist who can better diagnose and prescribe the necessary medication. Or they may send you to a Psychologist who will better diagnose you and suggest to your doctor which meds may work best. Or your doctor has had enough experience in this to diagnose and medicate you him/herself. Or you can try an alternative physician.

If it is not the way your brain normally functions then try a balanced diet. Once you get the proper nutrients in your body (try a health food store for supplements) through good foods, the anxiety will be reduced or go away completely.

Now, if you have something that you are anxious about, that is not anxiety, that is stress. And it can also stress out your stomach.

Ginger and peppermint are also very good to calm your stomach. My son’s gastroenterologist recommended ginger capsules.
    Forms:
    —capsules
    —tea
    —gingerale
    —ginger candy

Celestial Seasonings makes teas that MAY be good to calm the anxiety. They also make “Grandma’s TummyMint Tea” (yum).
